Your new role: We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to undertake the role of Assistant Financial Accountant within our Financial Reporting and Business Partnering team. You'll work within a small team of Assistant Financial Accountants supporting our Senior Financial Accountants and Financial Business Partners. You'll play a key role in closing the month end, reviewing general ledger accounts, posting adjustments and maintaining working files throughout the process. We have overall responsibility for producing statutory and management accounts and your work covers a wide range of the figures feeding into our assessment of financial performance and position.
Ideally AAT qualified or studying for ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, with experience of working in a finance team outside of practice. We would also consider candidates with the ability to demonstrate "qualification by experience" and those already working within a finance role in the housing sector. We're looking for someone who is committed to doing things in the right way, comfortable working both individually as well as part of the team and motivated to support meeting our reporting deadlines.
