We are recruiting a Community Safety Officer for a permanent role in Yeovil. This is an exciting time to join as we transition to a regional model with a focus on our local presence to ensure our neighborhoods are safe places where people want to live. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and their safety and welfare is our priority.

You will be working on a challenging and varied workload with no two days the same. You will respond to safeguarding issues, tackle anti-social behaviour, support victims of domestic abuse and progress legal matters through the court process. You will also build relationships with colleagues across internal teams and external agencies, attend multi-agency meetings as required, and undertake regular visits to customers in their homes and neighborhoods (mileage paid).

We are looking for great team players with knowledge and experience of the tools and powers available to prevent and tackle anti-social behaviour and with excellent communication skills to manage complex safeguarding cases and support victims of domestic abuse.
