Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead a skilled team working across Bracknell, Windsor, Ascot, Slough, and surrounding areas. You’ll oversee all gas works across Abri’s housing stock, ensuring everything is safe, compliant, and maintained to the highest standards.
Your responsibilities include motivating and supporting the team, keeping them up to date with training and qualifications, and ensuring performance and productivity stay on track. You will use your technical expertise to guide colleagues, enforce safe working practices, and maintain top‑quality work.
You will carry out all gas repairs, serve and install boilers for our customers. The tenancies managed are affordable rent, market rent, and rent‑to‑buy.
Ensuring that all colleagues work safely to gas regulations is mandatory, keeping both customers and the housing stock protected.
You will lead by example, adopting a customer‑first approach and working closely with key stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
This role also covers solid fuel and renewable heating systems, so you will provide technical advice and support to ensure our Gas Engineers can perform their jobs safely and efficiently. Mandatory compliance with regulatory standards must be met and exceeded.
