We're looking for an Advanced Multi-Skilled Operative to join our team, helping us deliver exceptional repairs and maintenance services across the South and South East, including Basingstoke, Southampton and Portsmouth. Reporting into either our Bracknell or Eastleigh office, you'll be out on the road making a real difference to our customers' homes and lives.

This is a role for someone who takes pride in a job well done, enjoys variety in their day, and loves solving problems. One day you could be carrying out skilled carpentry work, the next tackling plumbing repairs, plastering, tiling or masonry. No two days are the same, but every day you'll have the opportunity to improve someone's home and customer experience.

What you'll be doing

  • You'll use your broad trade experience and expertise to deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance, completing work safely, efficiently and, wherever possible, right first time.
  • Working independently and as part of a supportive team, you'll build positive relationships with customers, keeping them informed and ensuring they receive a service they can trust.
  • As one of our customer-facing ambassadors, you'll represent Abri in our communities, bringing a friendly, professional approach to every interaction.
  • You'll also help us deliver great value by managing materials effectively, maintaining your vehicle and equipment, and ensuring work is completed to the highest standards.

What we're looking for

  • We're keen to hear from experienced multi-skilled operatives with strong expertise across a range of trades, particularly carpentry and plumbing.
  • You'll be someone who enjoys finding practical solutions, works well under your own initiative, and takes genuine pride in delivering excellent workmanship.
  • Most importantly, you'll share our passion for putting customers first and helping to create safe, comfortable homes for the people we serve.

Why join us?

You'll be joining a team that values collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement. We invest in our people, support career development and provide opportunities to build on your skills and experience. Alongside a competitive salary, you'll benefit from a company vehicle, tools and equipment, excellent benefits and the chance to be part of an organisation that's making a positive difference across the South of England.

Ready to make an impact? If you're an experienced multi-skilled operative looking for a role where your skills are valued, your work matters and every day brings something different, we'd love to hear from you. We review and interview suitable candidates as applications come in, so don’t delay - apply today and help us build thriving communities together.
