We are delighted to be recruiting for a new Building Safety Manager to work out of our Yeovil office. This is an exciting time to join the Asset Management team at Abri, with significant growth occurring from partnership opportunities.

Your main purpose will be to support Abri Group in delivering its duties as Principle Accountable Person and Accountable Person for Higher Risk Buildings as defined by the Building Safety Act 2022. You will act as the primary point of contact for your HRB building residents, occupiers and accountable persons, maintaining building safety whilst fostering openness, trust, and collaboration.

The main purpose of this role is to work with the wider business to ensure high risk and complex buildings within the scope of legislation are compliantly managed and maintained safely and to look after the management of building safety cases and the onward reports presented to the Building Safety Regulator.

We are looking for demonstrable knowledge of current building and fire safety legislation and guidance. The successful candidate will need to be an excellent communicator with strong awareness of building safety and resident engagement and be able to demonstrate a track record of building trusted relationships with all stakeholders, both internal and external.
