Are you proactive, motivated, professional and friendly? We are looking for someone who is passionate and diligent to join our team as an Apprentice Grounds Maintenance Operative in September 2026.
Working as a great team player, you will assist your mentor in carrying out grounds work and maintenance to the external parts of Abri's properties in an efficient and effective manner ensuring that all works are in accordance with good grounds maintenance practice.
Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, so it’s very important your customer service skills are top notch - we want to always go above and beyond and amaze our customers with the services we provide.
Your day will include developing skills relevant to grounds maintenance to support the upkeep and standards of our housing stock, as well as gaining an understanding of health and safety requirements, legislation, and relevant Codes of Practice.
You will be supported throughout by your supervisor and a dedicated mentor, while also attending college and completing all coursework on time and to a high standard.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and driven individual looking to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced team. A chance to work on properties across the south of England, building affordable homes which will provide shelter to those in most housing need.
