We’re always on the lookout for Independent Living Partners across Hampshire, Berkshire, London and Somerset, and we’re confident there will be plenty of opportunities for you here at Abri. Our Independent Living Partners act as the first point of contact for customers living in our Independent Living schemes, which are designed for adults aged 55 and over. They play a key role in ensuring our housing‑related services are delivered to a high standard.
The role is varied, ranging from completing tasks to ensure our schemes are safe, secure and compliant, to checking in on customer wellbeing, dealing with tenancy matters, and hosting community catch‑ups to bring customers together. No two days are the same when you work in our communities. Working directly within our Independent Living schemes, you’ll play an integral role in building trusted, meaningful connections with our customers.
We are looking for people who have excellent communication skills, hold a full driver’s licence and have access to their own vehicle, are flexible with travel requirements, and can demonstrate a good understanding of the needs of older people—most importantly, promoting their independence.
