We're looking for a dedicated Independent Living Partner to join our team in London, supporting customers across the London area. Your local office will be from Emily House in W10 5BN.

About the role

You'll play a key part in delivering housing management services within our Independent Living schemes for older people. This includes being the first point of contact for tenancy and leasehold queries, ensuring compliance and health & safety checks, and fostering strong community engagement. Flexibility is essential, as you'll provide cover across multiple schemes and occasionally across our wider Independent Living geography. A full driving license and access to a car is required.

What we're looking for

  • Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach
  • A strong understanding of the needs of older people and a commitment to promoting independence
  • Knowledge of housing-related issues and experience in tenancy management
  • Confidence in using IT systems
  • Ability to work independently (this is a lone working role)

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver housing management functions for designated schemes/properties
  • Support customers with welfare contact and make referrals to internal and external services where needed
  • Manage the social alarm system and complete compliance checks
  • Build resident involvement and encourage community activities

Additional information

  • Normal service hours: 8am–4pm
  • Flexibility to work outside normal hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays when required
  • Participation in emergency response for critical out-of-hours situations
  • A DBS check will be required
