Your new role
Are you an experienced communications professional with a genuine passion for storytelling? With the voice of our customers at the heart of everything we do, we’re looking for a talented Communications Business Partner to join our team and support our housing services. If you enjoy turning complex ideas into clear, engaging messages, building strong relationships, and making a real difference to people’s lives, this could be the role for you.
Working closely with operational teams at the heart of our communities, you’ll lead on both internal and external communications for our housing services. You’ll create content that informs, engages and reassures our customers, while also supporting colleagues to feel confident and effective in how they communicate. You’ll be part of a friendly, purpose‑driven organisation where collaboration is valued, and your ideas can shape real change. If you’re strategic, creative, and motivated by improving people’s experiences, we’d love to hear from you.
This role can be based from our offices in Yeovil, Eastleigh, Bracknell or London, but regular travel across Abri’s geography will be essential.
Who we are
Abri is a large housing provider who own and manage over 58,000 homes and various community assets, serving around 113,000 customers across the South of England. We believe everyone has the right to a good quality safe, warm and sustainable home in a community where they can belong, grow and thrive.
What does that look like in real terms?
- We’re investing £689m over the next ten years in our existing homes to improve building safety and make them more energy efficient.
- We’re delivering 10,000 homes by 2030, ensuring affordable housing is built where it’s needed most.
- We’re investing in our communities, to address local issues and create opportunities for everyone.
- As we grow, we’re reestablishing our strong local presence to provide a really good service.
Abri has adopted a regional approach to service delivery, with our operating areas split into three, each with their local governance and leadership. This will ensure our colleagues are more visible, accountable and better connected to our customers and local communities to meet their diverse needs.
