Are you pro-active, highly motivated, professional and friendly? Our team has an exciting opportunity for you to join as an Electrician, working around the Portsmouth, Petersfield, Bordon and Guildford areas. You will deliver responsive and emergency electrical repairs across the South region, with typical tasks including replacing damaged accessories, fault diagnosis, partial rewires and distribution board upgrades. We’re looking for someone who can complete jobs on a first-time fix basis, with a solid understanding of circuit and heating system fault-finding. You should be self-motivated and able to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Deliver responsive and emergency electrical repairs across the South region, including fault diagnosis, replacement of damaged accessories, partial rewires and distribution board upgrades.
- Strive for first-time fix on assignments, applying strong fault-finding skills for circuits and heating systems.
- Participate in the on-call rota approximately once every six weeks (Thursday to Thursday) with the option to cover additional weeks. Includes a standby allowance and payment for each completed call-out, in addition to the basic salary.
- Work overtime at standard rate Monday–Friday, time and a half on Saturdays and double time on Sundays.
- Provide excellent customer service when visiting customers’ homes, representing the company professionally and delivering high standards of workmanship.
Qualifications
- Most up-to-date 18th Edition qualification and Level 3/AM2.
- Understanding of social housing is advantageous and experience with NICEIC certification or similar software equivalent.
- Full driving license is required.

- You will supply your own hand and power tools. Tools are insured against theft once registered on our system.
