We’re responsible for the cyclical upkeep of communal areas for our customers. The area covers a large geographical region and includes market rent, shared ownership and independent living communities on many estates or the whole estate. We also provide a reactive service to deal with hazards such as dumped items or snow clearing on independent living blocks. We manage tree care, retaining as many trees as possible or replanting if removed; trees provide shade, support wellbeing and offset carbon footprint.
Your new role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team covering the South East, including Windsor, Ascot, Bracknell and Slough. Work will be scheduled within a fortnightly round, giving you flexibility to plan your workload. The role requires a proactive, detail‑oriented team player who is looking for a new challenge. Working within a team, you’ll be responsible for the upkeep of external communal areas, grass, shrubs and hedges, and may be required to undertake soft landscaping or minor tree work. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, self‑motivated individual who wants to contribute to a dynamic and diverse team while helping residents and communities.
What You’ll Need
- Practical amenity horticultural knowledge & experience
- PA1 and PA6AW qualifications (desirable, but not essential)
- NPTC certification or equivalent (desirable, but not essential)
- A full driver’s licence (towing licence desirable)
We’ll provide you with a uniform, a van fitted with a vault, racking and inverter, a fuel card, company tablet and mobile, and the necessary PPE. Monthly talks are held for all trades to discuss processes and updates.
