We are delighted to be recruiting for a new Asset Land Officer to join our hardworking team, supporting the Asset Land Manager, based at our Bracknell or Eastleigh Offices. This is an exciting time to join the asset management team at Abri, with significant growth occurring from partnership opportunities. This role is a unique opportunity combining both land and small-scale development knowledge with some regeneration emerging too.
Abri operates regionally and this role will require travel from time to time anywhere from Somerset to Central London. We are looking for someone who can help deliver our land strategy based on the identification of opportunities for creating value from our existing portfolio of land and garage holdings. You will assist in the appraisal of land disposals, obtainment of planning permission and delivering against annual sales targets.
Land that is unsuitable for development will be assessed against Abri’s wider environmental aspirations, including increasing biodiversity net gain and providing land for electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Your day-to-day work will contribute to options appraisals, and you will be expected to manage complex information and data simply to share with various audiences, including external stakeholders.
You must have experience of the processes around housing development and the requirements for obtaining planning permission, though no formal qualifications are required. You may have surveying, estate agency or construction industry experience and are contemplating a change, which we welcome here at Abri. Most importantly, we are seeking an enthusiastic, meticulous, and driven individual.
If this sounds like the opportunity you've been looking for and you want to make a huge difference in a large, complex, and growing organisation, we'd love to hear from you!
