Are you proactive, motivated, professional and friendly? We're looking for someone who is passionate and diligent to join our team as an Apprentice Carpenter in September 2025.
Working as a great team player, you'll assist your mentor in carrying out work and installations to Abri's properties in an efficient and effective manner ensuring that all works are in accordance to a good building maintenance practice.
Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, so it’s very important your customer service skills are top notch – we want to always go above and beyond and amaze our customers with the services we provide.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing skills and competency relevant to carpentry, assisting trade colleagues and supporting all service areas within the Commercial Services team.
- Delivering basic carpentry repairs under supervision of a competent trades person. Assisting in all aspects of repairs and installation of water services and mains.
- Understanding health and safety requirements and other relevant legislation and Codes of Practice.
- Being supported by your supervisor and a mentor.
- Attending college and completing all course work on time and to a high standard.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, self‑motivated, and driven individual looking to contribute to a dynamic and fast‑paced team. A chance to work on properties sites across the south of England, building affordable homes which will provide shelter to those in most housing need.
