About Aberdeen

At Aberdeen, we believe in investing in more than just markets; we invest in people. Our Product & Marketing Graduate Programme is your opportunity to build a career with purpose, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to shaping the future of investment communications and product innovation.

Over two years, you'll rotate across four six-month placements, two in Product and two in Marketing. Giving you a broad understanding of how we develop, manage, and promote our investment solutions to clients across the globe.

What You'll Do

The Global Product & Marketing teams sit at the heart of our Investments business. Reporting into the Chief Product & Marketing Office, these teams work across internal and external networks to create and promote Aberdeen's evolving, client-focused product suite.

You’ll gain experience in:

  • Product – Governance
Learn how we launch and manage our product range through structured governance. You’ll support approvals processes, engage with boards and forums, deliver reporting, and contribute to projects that improve efficiency and oversight.
  • Product – Alternatives
Explore how Aberdeen develops innovative products in fast-growing asset classes like Real Estate and Infrastructure. You’ll help shape solutions that bring alternative investments to a broader client base.
  • Marketing – Regional Marketing
Get hands-on experience across the full marketing mix from digital media strategy and email campaigns to events, webcasts, and website updates. You’ll collaborate with teams across Digital, Content, Sales, Compliance, Brand, Legal and PR.
  • Marketing – Capability, Digital or Campaigns
Dive into how we engage clients through tailored content and formats, including videos, podcasts, articles, brochures and more. You’ll also learn how we use data and analytics to measure impact and drive future strategy.

By the end of the programme, you’ll have a strong foundation in both disciplines and a clear view of how Product & Marketing connect with Investments, Client Group, Operations and central functions.

What You'll Gain

  • A deep understanding of product development and marketing strategy.
  • Exposure to real projects and meaningful work.
  • Collaboration with experienced professionals across the business.
  • Structured training and coaching.
  • Support to work towards a recognised industry qualification.
  • A strong foundation for a long-term career in financial services.

Who We're Looking For

We welcome graduates from a wide range of academic backgrounds, who have graduated in 2025, or due to graduate in 2026. Degrees in Marketing, Business, or Economics are particularly relevant, but they’re not essential. If you bring strong commercial awareness, creativity, and excellent communication skills, we’d love to hear from you, whatever your degree.

We value:
