Responsibilities include helping clients with their immediate needs such as dressing and maintaining hygiene, as well as assisting with basic day-to-day or administrative tasks like paying bills. The role also involves getting to know clients personally and providing companionship and emotional support, contributing positively to their wellbeing. Duties may extend to helping clients participate in leisure activities, such as going on day trips. Responsibilities vary substantially from client to client, ensuring that no two shifts are the same.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be an essential member of the healthcare team, providing compassionate support to patients in various settings, including care homes and home care environments. Reporting to the nursing staff, your core responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs. Your skills in driving and communication will enhance patient engagement, while your relevant IT and English skills will ensure accurate documentation and effective interaction. Qualifications: Abrams Healthcare is actively seeking experienced HealthCare Support Workers. You must have or be willing to obtain a Live enhanced DBS. The role involves working in areas such as Care Homes, Learning Disability Units, Supported Living Facilities, Nursing Homes, Mental Health Facilities, and Private Hospitals.

The applicant must have at least 3 months of paid experience within a UK Care setting and possess the right to work within the UK. You will need to possess or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS and be on a Live register. You will also need to possess or acquire the mandatory training required for this job. Ongoing training is offered for our registered candidates.

Job Types: Full-time available on our app. Salary: £12.21-£13 / hour.
