Senior Healthcare Assistant
Abrams Healthcare is actively seeking experienced SHCA workers. We have an ongoing need for that role. HCAs can be trained for senior roles. You must have or be willing to have a Live enhanced DBS. Medication training is a must and can be provided.

You must have at least 3 months of paid experience within a UK Care setting and possess the right to work within the UK. Driver's licence is an advantage.

Salary
£13-£30 per hour
Shift Conditions
This position is for Agency (Senior HCA) who book shifts on an ad-hoc or block-booking basis. We have shifts nationwide as well.
Responsibilities
- Administer medication and assist service users with dressing, hygiene, and washing.
- Assist and manage other HCAs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, contributing positively to well-being.
- Liaise with Managers and Team Leaders.
- Help clients take part in leisure activities such as day trips.
- Deliver individualized care, ensuring no two shifts are the same.
- Maintain accurate records, update care plans, and use medical equipment appropriately.
- Provide high standard of nursing and care to service users, developing strong relationships with users, relatives, and senior staff.
Training & Development
We offer Level 3 courses suited to Senior Healthcare Assistants and Higher. You will need to register on our app for compliance, timesheets, shifts, and payroll.
Teamwork
Collaboration with HCAs is essential. A cheerful personality is valuable for a happy placement.
