Senior Healthcare Assistant
Abrams Healthcare is actively seeking experienced SHCA Workers. We have an ongoing need for that role. HCA can be trained for senior roles. You must have or be willing to have a Live enhanced DBS. Medication training a must and can be provided.

This position is for Agency (Senior HCA) who book shifts on an Ad-Hoc or block-booking basis. We have shifts Nationwide as well.
Responsibilities
Typical Senior Healthcare Care Assistant duties are wide-ranging. The job revolves around administering medication and helping service users with their immediate needs such as dressing and maintaining their hygiene and washing. Assisting and managing HCAs.
The Senior Healthcare Assistant role also includes getting to know the service users personally and providing them with companionship and emotional support, contributing positively to their well‑being. Liaising with Managers and other Team Leaders.
The Senior Health Care Assistant can also extend to helping clients to take part in leisure activities, such as going on day trips. The Senior Care Assistant\’s duties, therefore, vary substantially from client to client so that no two shifts are the same.
Senior Healthcare Assistants and Health Care Support Workers are part of a multi‑disciplinary team. You will endeavour to provide the highest level of nursing and care to service users. You will need to develop strong relationships with service users, relatives, and senior staff. The role also involves providing good standards of medical care to service users, accurate record keeping, updating care plans accurately, appropriate use of medical equipment, a cheery attitude, and willingness to continue updating your training for compliance.
