An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and organised individual to join our growing sales team as Export Sales Manager. This role focuses on sales into gift accounts across Europe, including France, Benelux, Eastern Europe and Italy. You will be working directly with key accounts, developing relationships with customers and providing excellent service: processing and following up on orders, managing customer mailings, handling queries and completing administrative tasks efficiently. The role also involves travel to meet with customers and visit trade shows abroad.
This role will suit someone with experience in a sales administration or sales support role, who is looking to grow to more hands-on account management. You will be comfortable speaking with customers by phone and video, be organised in how you manage tasks and follow ups, and confident working with pricing and systems.
You will be joining a lively and highly motivated team, working closely with the other members in the export and wider UK sales team. Responsibilities- Overarching responsibility for developing and implementing the sales strategy for gift sales in France, Benelux, Eastern Europe, Italy, Middle East, Africa, with a focus on sales in Europe.
- Maintaining and building relationships with existing and new customers across the territories.
- Timely processing of orders and attending to queries from customers, including stock review, order confirmation, invoice and delivery queries.
- Coordinating a clear flow of accurate and relevant information to customers (newsletters, sell-sheets, samples, images, data, information and other essential documents).
- Providing regular call reports.
- Attending and helping to organise Trade Shows.
- Attending online and in-person sales conferences for seasonal presentations.
- Other duties as directed by the Director of UK & Export Sales.
- A talent for managing multiple projects and prioritising time, being able to judge and juggle priorities is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, supported by strong attention to detail, enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Pro-activeness and the ability to work on your own initiative.
- Basic Excel proficiency.
- Enthusiastic and collaborative approach to working.
- A team player.
£28,000-£30,000 per annum depending on experience.
Location/Work ArrangementThis role is a full-time hybrid position working at least 3 days in the office at 22-24 Ely Place, London.
