The Dean Trust is seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic D&T Teacher, Resistant Materials (Any food technology experience is also desirable) to join our dedicated team at Abraham Moss Community School, Crescent Road, Crumpsall, Manchester, M8 5UF.
The core purpose of the role will be to teach Design Technology at Key Stages 3 and 4, working as a member of the Design Technology team and demonstrating good practice in sustaining high standards of achievement.
Key responsibilities:- Work closely with the Design Technology team in all professional matters to develop schemes of work that are adaptive and inclusive, to ensure that there are effective teaching strategies to give access to the curriculum for all pupils.
- Take responsibility for the upkeep of the workshop, its tools and equipment and report any health and safety issues according to the school and department policy.
