The Opportunity:

These guys are a start-up, offering a tech-led AI solution aiming to change how mentoring and coaching is positioned and delivered. It’s a bit of a career enablement solution that drives employee growth, and naturally, the employer see’s the benefits. (The mission is to bring coaching and mentoring to everyone, not just senior figures)

It’s a small team of c.20 with 1 CSM already in the business. They have a book of c.25 live clients, really healthy pipeline and an ARR that sits around £1mil. The plan is to 3x revenue in the next 12 months and then you’ll have all the exciting growth that comes with that!

It’s a function that will need hands on steering, with a leadership team that understand the value of CS. That said, they want someone with the confidence and track record of optimising CS, maximising usage, retention and driving account growth. It’s a small team, so you’ll work closely with all departments (Sales, Product & support) – helping everyone pull in the same direction.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience leading a small customer success function (<5 in team) within a start-up business
  • Previous experience in coaching/mentoring or L&D but as a service/solution, not just part of your role/remit.
  • Prior success off growing and optimising a Customer Success function with a comparable ARR (£0 – £5mil ARR)
  • Previous experience working within a HR-Tech or learning solution. Critically, working with HR or L&D decision makers.
  • The confidence to make data and experience led decision that drive development of Customer Success within a start-up business environment.
  • The confidence to challenge leadership with best practice, methodologies and approaches.
  • A leader that can inspire confidence in the Customer Success and clos9ely linked teams.

The Package:

  • A base salary up to £100k & options.
  • Hybrid working 2x a week in Central London.
