The Role
As Head of Sales, you will lead a high-performing team of Business Development Managers and Sales Development Representatives to drive revenue across the UK market. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, consultative B2B sales environment.
You’ll work directly with the Commercial Director and leadership team to refine the Go-To-Market strategy, improve sales processes, and deliver ambitious growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver UK sales targets and growth plans
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of BDMs and SDRs
- Execute and refine sales strategies to support both new business acquisition and account expansion
- Use performance data and sales metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Deliver 1:1 coaching, training, and ongoing development of team members
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in B2B sales leadership, ideally in subscription Sales, SaaS, or political / business intelligence sectors
- Strong track record of exceeding sales targets
- Inspirational leadership style with a focus on coaching and developing teams
- Data-driven approach with a strong grasp of forecasting, KPIs, and sales analytics
- Comfort operating in a high-growth, fast-moving environment
- A passion for politics, public affairs, or current affairs is a plus
