Operating from their HQ in Leicester, they have sites and warehouses in the UK, Far East, North America and Eastern Europe with brand partners.
Reporting to the Managing Director & part-time CFO, as the Head of Finance, you'll own the end-to-end financial function, ensuring everything they do is robust, compliant and genuinely useful to the business.
From statutory accounts, audit, tax and VAT through to day-to-day financial operations, you'll turn complex requirements into clear processes, high standards and a finance function that runs smoothly.
\Working closely with the leadership team, you'll lead, guide and develop Finance and associated teams - staying close to the detail while building capability, confidence and consistency across the group.
\You'll ensure our management accounts are delivered in a controlled, reliable way, but more importantly, that they drive insight and better decision-making.
From short-term forecasting through to long-term planning and strategy - making finance feel like a true partner to the wider team.
Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA).
Possessing financial modelling skills in a multicurrency experience is key, as is being highly proficient in Microsoft Excel & Xero and experience with ERP platforms is an advantage.
Your technical knowledge is a given to the level that it must be an in-depth understanding of accounting standards, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
Given the reporting requirements, you must have a strong 'management accounting/control' background.
\All this is to be underpinned by excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders, and you will have been a participant on or supporting a board/executive team.
