ABPM are recruiting for a role that combines a number of different features and departments, providing leadership to a group of c40 heads. The Head of Finance Operations is within an exciting growing B2B company that has a turnover exceeding £500m and is multi-faceted – there lies the challenge and the appeal of this role. The ideal individual will bring to bear their commercial acumen to analyse the processes, interpret the data, and advance activities across the departments and suggest and implement agreed improvements for any gaps and risks to deliver improved performance and strive for optimisation.

Responsible for 4 team managers and overseeing their day-to-day operations to maximise efficiency, enhance cashflow and hit working capital targets.

A hands-on commercially focused role, which will suit an individual with a financial background who has moved into a commercial role.

Some of your responsibilities may include:

  • Leading and developing the teams and business partnering stakeholders.
  • Aim to refine processes and cash optimisation cycles.
  • Lead continuous improvements towards operations, reporting, analysis and KPIs.
  • Assess commercial impacts for change and improvements.
  • Responsible for all material breach reporting.
  • Drive performance and processes.
  • Assess business risk factors and adapt to change.
  • Direct debits, refunds and credit notes.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Support debt management and field teams.
  • Ensure compliance throughout processes.
  • Ad-hoc duties as and when required.
