ABPM are recruiting for a global healthcare manufacturer at its central UK operations. This role will provide you not only an interesting role to undertake but also allows line management responsibilities for two junior members of the team.
So, if you are seeking your next career move, the nature of the role would ideally suit either an ACA or ACCA, first or second mover.
As Financial Accountant you would ensure complete and accurate recording on all financial transactions and report within corporate and statutory deadlines. Also, you would supply timely business data to the Finance Director for decision-making and support ad-hoc projects.

Some of your responsibilities may include:
- Management of the financial accounting function.
- Manage and oversee a small finance team.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Statutory accounting including management of statutory audit.
- Budgeting, forecasting and monthly cashflow reporting.
- VAT submission, Intrastat reporting and corporation tax calculations.
- Monitor and implement procedures and standards to ensure accurate transaction reporting.
- Resolving any issues by liaise with internal and external teams.
- Continuously seek to better financial processes.
- Support the Finance Director.
- Ad-hoc tasks and projects as and when required.
