Building on this platform, ABPM is delighted to have been retained to recruit a new Director of Finance who will have a broad remit and the opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of this high achieving school.

The purpose of the appointment is to lead the financial strategy and operational financial management of Derby High School, ensuring long-term sustainability, value for money and robust compliance. Reporting to the Head, you will be a member of the senior leadership team, and the role will actively contribute to strategic planning, risk management and operational efficiency.

The new Director of Finance will be a hands-on and proactive qualified accountant who possesses experience of leading the finance team of a multi-dimensional business. The need to demonstrate the development of MIS, processes, and systems improvement to enhance the ability to make informed decisions, support a broad range of colleagues and provide comfort to the board that there is visible accountability and compliance.
