ABP Bridge of Allan is part of ABP Food Group, one of Europe's leading food processors. We are currently looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and hardworking Canteen Assistant to join our team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and is passionate about maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness. This role is a full time role working Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and serving food and beverages to employees.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the canteen and kitchen areas.
- Operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
- Assisting with stock control and replenishment of supplies.
- Washing dishes and ensuring all utensils and equipment are cleaned and stored correctly.
- Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times.
- Supporting the Canteen Team with daily operations and special events where required.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, food service, or a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Understanding of food hygiene standards would be an advantage.
