The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 Β£ per year.

This programme provides hands-on operational training through a 12-month placement in Ireland, followed by a second year back in Scotland where learnings can be put into practice in a supported environment. Participants will develop practical skills, industry knowledge and valuable on-the-job experience, preparing them for a long-term career with ABP. Trainees will work across key areas of the site from the abattoir through to the finished product, building a strong understanding of end-to-end operations. Main Duties & Responsibilities

Our ambitions are that you will progress into a permanent position at one of our Scottish sites. From day one, you will get hands-on experience supporting our factory operations team. You will get exposure to our wide range of products and processes. We will teach you about our farm to fork process gaining invaluable experience within the food industry. This role offers opportunities for travel for a minimum term of a year and we are specifically seeking candidates who are enthusiastic about exploring new environments, building relationships and learning from different perspectives from other parts of the business.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Able to work independently, using initiative, and collaboratively within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Strong communicators with excellent interpersonal skills
  • In possession of a full, valid driving licence
