As a Production Operator you will be supporting the Line Leader in ensuring efficient running of Production lines, achieving targets and monitoring of line machinery.
The hours and days for this role is:
Monday to Friday ONLY (No weekend or bank holiday working) 45 hours, 14:00 – 23:00 or 15:00 till 00:00.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures for completion of tasks within the production environment
Maximise line output by ensuring line speeds are maintained at the correct standards
Report non conformances to the Line Leader immediately
Know what is expected versus actual hourly line output rates and identify reasons for shortfalls
Takes part in Continuous Improvement activities and contribute suggestions to improve line performance
Help during changes on the line learning new skills as required
Completion of manual work
Work on different lines and areas where required
Comply with all company procedures and codes of practice to ensure a safe and hygienic workplace
Ensure Health and Safety procedures are adhered to and any issues or near misses are reported accordingly
Maintain a clean as you go area and demonstrate good manufacturing processes
Maintain line standards taking accountability for your actions
Ensure that the product is of the correct specification to maintain and exceed customer expectations
Complete routine tasks without being prompted including any other duties relating to this role and Production environment
