Responsible for buying of Raw Materials.

Ensure all goods are supplied to agreed specifications, on time and in full.

Reconciling stocks.

Communicate with suppliers, boning halls and coldstores on a regular basis.

Support Group Purchasing initiatives.

Assisting in packaging trials

Balancing stock holding and best price purchase vs write offs.

Ensuring purchases accommodate the production plans needs and reacts accordingly.

Controlling off site stock.

Working closely with Planning, Technical, Commercial, Finance, Warehouse, NPD and Accounts.

Set up new products for Customer launches.

Strong negotiation skills.

Ability to manage a challenging supply chain.
