Overview
To support retail production by ensuring packaging operation run smoothly, while indenting and driving improvements to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and maintain packaging quality standards.
This role works closely with Production, Quality and Stores Team to deliver reliable packaging performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Support production in resolving packaging quality issues.
- Work closely with Quality and Production teams to maintain standard and reduce waste
- Monitor packaging usage during production. Highlighting and addressing waste, damage or inefficiencies.
- Track and record packaging waste, analyse trends and support root cause investigations.
- Collaborate with Procurement with challenges and drive improvement.
- Conduct checks on packaging specification for data accuracy in line with BOM\\\’s
- Assist in packaging trials and validation on new materials formats.
- Attend required meeting to drive improvement, and proactive approach.
- Follow all H&S, Food Safety and Company procedures.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail production environment.
- Basic understanding of packaging materials and labelling ( Training provided)
- Good organisational and communication skills with ability to prioritise tasks.
