Food & Drink Operations Programme
As a Food and Drink Operative Apprentice at ABP, you will be part of an innovative and technically advanced environment, contributing to the efficiency and excellence of our manufacturing operations. This apprenticeship is aligned with the Level 2 Food & Drink Operative standard, providing you with a diverse and hands-on learning experience, and the opportunity to learn about the world of food and drink and how we take products from the farmer\\\βs gate to the consumer plate, where thousands of people enjoy our products every day!

What You\\\βll Do
- Be part of the production team working in a chilled manufacturing environment.
- Work to customers\\\β specifications to ensure a high quality of product is produced.
- Learn about a variety of products produced on site and operate a variety of machinery in the manufacturing process.
- Learn to check correct labelling, weight and quality assurance documentation and ensure it is completed accurately.
- Report defects and address concerns; training will be provided.
- Learn a variety of manufacturing techniques to support continual improvement of operational functions.
- Complete qualifications such as Food Hygiene and Food Safety, and work towards Level 2 Food & Drink apprenticeship; functional skills in Maths and English may be provided if required.
