Overview
ABP UK is seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Indirect Procurement Analyst to support the procurement function across key indirect categories including non-meat ingredients, PPE, laundry services, and utilities. This role will be instrumental in collating, analyzing, and presenting procurement data to drive strategic decision-making and cost efficiencies. This role offers the chance to develop within a forward-thinking business while applying analytical skills to positively shape profitability and supplier performance.
Responsibilities
- Collate & present procurement data across indirect spend categories.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to track spend, supplier performance, and savings opportunities.
- Interpret supplier data and purchasing trends to support strategic procurement direction.
- Support tender processes and contract management activities.
- Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations to inform procurement strategy.
- Generate regular reports on spend analysis, compliance, and supplier KPIs.
- Provide ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and cost-saving projects.
- Collaborate with finance and operational teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment.
- Identify opportunities to streamline data collection and reporting processes.
- Support the implementation of digital tools and automation within the procurement function.
- Deliver supplier performance reviews, uncover cost savings, and improve quality/service.
- Support supplier negotiations with data-backed insight.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in procurement analytics or a similar data-focused role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Expertise in Power BI for dashboard creation and data presentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Experience in indirect procurement categories (non-meat ingredients, PPE, laundry, utilities) desirable
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
