Role Definition
- Assist the tooling engineer with PPM on tools and equipment.
- Carry out morning tests on the tooling inside Retail to confirm it is ready for production.
- Assist with other tasks around the Engineering department as required.
- Ensure all tooling and services are carried out, utilising the company's chosen Pre Planned Maintenance system.
- Carrying out pre-start checks and tests on the equipment prior to lines starting.
- Comply with site H&S and technical requirements around food safety.
- Assist with 5S around the workshop/department to maintain required standard.
- Assist (as required) with breakdowns to tooling including out of hours repair.
- Liaise/communicate with colleagues and departments and attend meetings where required.
- Ensure our products meet our customer requirements.
- Carry out any other duties that may be reasonably requested by your line manager.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
- The candidate will enjoy challenging, problem-solving roles and be ideally suited to a fast-paced environment.
- Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task.
- Be able to take direction and follow instruction.
Hours of Work: 6am - 2.30pm weekdays (Flexibility required)
