Due to continued growth and development at our Bridge of Allan site, we are looking for motivated Trimmers to join our Boning Hall Team.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a fast-paced production environment, supplying high-quality products to some of the UK's leading retailers and food service customers.
As a Meat Trimmer, you will be responsible for preparing and trimming beef products to customer specifications while maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety and yield.
Key responsibilities include:
- Trimming and preparing meat products to specification using knives
- Removing excess fat, gristle and bone where required
- Ensuring products meet customer quality standards
- Maximising product yield and minimising waste
- Working safely and effectively in a chilled production environment
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic work area at all times
- Supporting the production team in achieving daily and weekly targets
- Following all company food safety, health & safety and hygiene procedures
What We're Looking For:
- Previous knife skills or meat trimming experience is desirable but not essential
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Commitment to safe working practices
