Key Responsibilities
- To understand the mechanics of the ABP UK central Birmingham/Linden Monthly Payroll (service provided by bureau)
- To process ABP Payrolls, starters, leavers, salary changes, statutory payments, payrolling BIK, sickness etc.
- To understand compliance with and of, Company and HMRC policies and relevant legislation
- To participate in payroll/benefit uploads to associated third party providers e.g pensions
- To respond to ad hoc management and employee enquiries in an efficient and effective manner
- To ensure that the confidentiality of employee data and payroll information is always maintained
- To perform any other associated duties as and when requested
- To visit sites where deemed appropriate to facilitate support / training
- Assisting with calculations for payrolling BIK's
- Maintaining record keeping
- In conjunction with other colleagues (Payroll and IT), to participate in the provision of providing timely first line support to local payrollers in response to issues and queries raised
- To understand all aspects of the ABP UK local payroll process, including knowledge of relevant systems and their part in that process
- All deadlines are met internal and statutory
- Payment of third party payments are made on time
- Support audit requests
- Process Office of National Statistic responses
