Role Definition
Building business within the existing supplier base and driving new business with dairy farmers of the UKs leading fully integrated supply chain. The role is to manage a field based sales team that sign up dairy farmers to use Gamechanger genetics. A key aspect involves working alongside genetic stakeholders within the supply chain to continue growth.
Key responsibilities
The role
The Genetic Sales Team Manager for Gamechanger Farming is responsible for managing and growing the volume of genetic sales into the Gamechanger Integrated supply chain. Focus will be on managing the procurement BDM team to sign up dairy farmers and supporting the team with supplier relationships and managing supplier administration. The team act as the first link to the wider Gamechanger team with an aim to grow a market leading integrated supply chain.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage calf supplier recruitment and onboarding accounts in line with targets
- Create opportunities for lead generation through genetic companies, marketing and supplier base
- Ensuring suppliers fulfil their calf supply goals through account planning
- Nurture key calf supplier accounts
- Conduct supplier criteria reviews to drive improvement though sire selection
- This role requires a full UK driving licence.
