Role Definition:

  • This is a perfect opportunity to be introduced to Planning and Procurement Department. The role will give you exposure to both parts of the business. Learning all the key skills necessary to ensure they run as accurately, efficiently and smoothly as possible during busy periods and annual leave / absence
  • Procurement key responsibilities:
  • Ability to manage the flow of goods into Doncaster ensuring the factory has what it needs and not too much
  • Raising of purchase orders
  • Interacting with our suppliers to manage stocks and delivery of goods
  • Understanding what material is needed to complete the production plan and where to purchase from
  • Updating systems to keep them accurate
  • Liaising with multiple departments ensuring the jobs are completed in time
  • Building a production plan
  • Ensuring plans are as efficient as possible whilst minimising waste
  • Maintaining company systems
  • Allocating raw material to the factory
  • Highlighting anomalies in Customer orders when they land
  • Liaising with multiple departments ensuring the jobs are completed in time
  • 1st point of contact for the factory regarding the plan
  • Additional Information
  • To perform other tasks and duties as requested by your manager
  • Adhere to all health and safety and food hygiene standards at all times
