Position Summary

As a Night Hygiene Operative you will follow standard operating procedures for completion of hygiene tasks.

You will also ensure that work is completed to production deadlines and in accordance with food safety regulations and any other legislation in force and relevant at the time whilst adhering to and upholding all health and safety guidelines and working in accordance with food hygiene regulations and Company policies and procedures.

This role requires flexibility and a willingness to work additional hours when required.

Responsibilities

  • Complete required hygiene activities meeting company standards to planned volume and schedule
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality, food safety, hygiene, ethical, product labelling and allergen handling processes
  • Support necessary line efficiency through consistent and correct schedule adherence and hygiene practices
  • Keep and maintain appropriate records as required
  • Ensure own familiarity and compliance with company policies and procedures, standards of operation and safe operating procedures
  • Ensure consistent and timely attendance at work
  • Provide flexibility to meet company operating requirements
  • Deliver proper use of chemicals, adherence to food and personal safe working practices at all times
  • Support best team performance, efficiency, service levels and employee engagement
  • Invest in own learning and development and support others
  • Support trainee development to ensure the 'next generation' workforce
  • Attentive to detail – diligent pursuit of best standards
