A primary school located in the Wigan area is looking for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to start in the nursery on a full-time basis from September. This role is permanent and term-time only. Your new role
In this role, you will support children aged 2‑4 through structured and play-based early years activities. You will contribute to the planning and delivery of age‑appropriate learning experiences, support early communication, literacy, numeracy, and physical development, and maintain a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment. You will help with daily routines including settling, toileting, transitions and snack times, working collaboratively with early‑years colleagues to ensure consistent EYFS practice.
It is essential that you work closely with other staff members to support children’s learning and development, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.
What you’ll need to succeed
- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential.
- Early years experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience of delivering WELLCOMM is desirable.
- Paediatric first aid training is essential.
- Ability to support early communication, play-based learning, and developmental needs.
- Able to work the required hours, term time only.
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting child well-being.
