I'm currently supporting a fantastic organisation that is looking to bring on board a Senior Early Years Practitioner to join their friendly and supportive nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting children's development and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the nursery provision
  • Delivering high-quality care and education for children up to 5 years old
  • Planning and implementing engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Monitoring children's development and maintaining accurate records
  • Working closely with parents, carers, and colleagues to support positive outcomes for children
  • Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times
  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where required

What we're looking for:

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 within a nursery setting
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive, caring, and team-focused approach
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Location: Jellybabies Nursery, Coastland College - Weymouth Campus, DT4 7LQ

Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Contract: Temporary, Ongoing

Start Date: ASAP

Part-time hours may be considered; however, candidates must be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week.
