I'm currently supporting a fantastic organisation that is looking to bring on board a Senior Early Years Practitioner to join their friendly and supportive nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting children's development and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the nursery provision
- Delivering high-quality care and education for children up to 5 years old
- Planning and implementing engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Monitoring children's development and maintaining accurate records
- Working closely with parents, carers, and colleagues to support positive outcomes for children
- Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where required
What we're looking for:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 within a nursery setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, caring, and team-focused approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Part-time hours may be considered; however, candidates must be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week.
