Key Responsibilities- Support the delivery of engaging and age‑appropriate learning activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Promote children's learning, development, and well‑being through play‑based activities.
- Assist with the planning and preparation of learning resources and classroom activities.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members.
- Support children's personal, social, and emotional development.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Observe and record children's progress where required.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times.
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education, or equivalent (essential).
- Previous experience working within a nursery, preschool, or school‑based early years setting.
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to different school environments.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
