About our Nursery: Our beautiful Newcastle Quorum nursery has an Ofsted rating of Outstanding, and has a capacity of 108. We have a longstanding and dedicated team that has the children at the centre of everything that we do. We also have our own allotment space within the business park where we grow our own fruit and vegetables. Located within the business park, with access to free parking, a free shuttle bus service linking us to the local metro four lane ends just 1 minute walk away. Bus routes linking us to the city centre just 1 minute walk away.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and delivery with your expert knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • Of age-appropriate activities in line with the early years curriculum.
  • Take ownership of the observation, assessments and planning for your key children in line with EYFS and provide developmentally challenging next steps.
  • Mentor and guide team members, contributing to curriculum development.
  • Take on the role of Key Person, maintaining relationships with families and support parents with any SEND/ASL needs.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment that supports children’s emotional and social development.
  • Ensure we encourage and praise children’s development and achievements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Hold QTS, EYTS or EYPS qualification.
  • Extensive experience in an early years setting (ideally as a Nursery Teacher or Early Years Teacher).
  • Leadership and mentoring skills.
