SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Islington, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join their Early Years team from September for the full academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive and nurturing school environment, with the potential for a longer-term or permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

The Role

The school is looking for a caring and proactive Early Years Educator to support children within the Early Years setting. You will play a key role in helping children develop socially, emotionally, and academically during these important early stages of learning. You will work closely with the class teacher and wider Early Years team to create a stimulating, engaging, and safe learning environment where children can thrive. The role will involve supporting learning through play, leading small group activities, and helping to promote children's communication, confidence, and independence. The children are enthusiastic learners who respond well to positive relationships and creative approaches to learning.

The School

This welcoming and well-resourced primary school has a well-established Children's Centre for children under the age of 3 and is highly regarded within the local community for its nurturing and inclusive environment. The successful candidate will work across both the baby room and toddler room throughout the day, providing support wherever needed within the setting. This is a varied and rewarding role where flexibility, teamwork, and a caring approach are highly valued. The leadership team is supportive and places a strong emphasis on staff wellbeing and professional development. Staff work closely together and there is a genuine sense of community across the setting and wider school.

The Ideal Candidate

The school would love to hear from experienced Early Years Educators, Nursery Practitioners, or Early Years Practitioners with a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum. The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working within an Early Years setting
  • Hold a CACHE Level 3 Early Years qualification (equivalent or higher)
  • Be nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic
  • Have a strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
  • Be confident supporting learning through play and structured activities
  • Work well as part of a team and build positive relationships with children and families
