Teaching Personnel are looking for a skilled and committed Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant to support a local Primary school near Axminster. This rewarding role involves working closely with other nursery staff to support early years learning and development, deliver engaging activities, and provide targeted support to children with additional needs. It is ideal for experienced Nursery Assistants or Teaching Assistants looking to further develop their career in Early Years education.

As a Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging early years activities
  • Work closely with children to support their learning and development
  • Provide targeted support for children with SEND and additional needs
  • Encourage social, emotional, and communication development
  • Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour

  • A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
  • Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
  • A caring, proactive, and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English
