We are recruiting a dynamic and motivated Nursery Manager to lead our beautiful early years setting in Hauxton, Cambridge. Operating 40 hours per week, all year round, this role offers a fantastic opportunity for a childcare professional to foster an inspiring learning environment full of awe and wonder while driving team performance.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Operational Management: Direct daily operations, handle administrative workflows accurately, and manage budgets, nursery targets, and KPIs.
- Team Development: Support, inspire, and mentor your early years team, while overseeing the induction of all new starters.
- Curriculum Excellence: Oversee the implementation of creative, play-based learning activities and ensure tracking of children's learning journeys.
- Safeguarding & Welfare: Prioritize a secure, nurturing environment by upholding strict safeguarding and child protection practices.
Candidate Requirements
- Skills: Exceptional time management, audit and inspection preparation skills, and a deep understanding of EYFS regulations.
- Qualifications: Full and relevant Early Years Level 3 Childcare Qualification or higher.
- Experience: Previous leadership experience in a nursery or pre-school setting.
