I'm currently recruiting for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for a nursery situated in Cambridge. This carefully designed day nursery provides a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years, where learning is brought to life through play, exploration, and creativity. This setting also has dedicated parking spaces for staff - a real bonus!
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care and education for the children. You will be instrumental in identifying and meeting individual needs while building positive and professional relationships with children, staff, parents, and carers.
The Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality childcare in line with the EYFS framework
- Safeguarding children on a daily basis
- Building strong, nurturing relationships with families and carers
- Promoting learning through play, exploration, and fun-filled activities
- Observing, planning, and assessing children's development
- Supporting a warm, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
The Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare & Early Years (would consider level 2 for the right candidate)
- Prior experience working with young children
- A positive, proactive attitude and excellent team spirit
- Strong communication skills and a caring nature
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt in a dynamic nursery setting
