Are you an experienced Early Years and Nursery Manager/Leader looking for your next challenge? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, Outstanding-rated nursery in Brentwood that is passionate about providing the highest standard of childcare and early years education. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager or ambitious Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in their career. The nursery provides care for children aged 3 months to 5 years and prides itself on creating a safe, caring, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
The Role
- Leading, motivating, and developing a dedicated childcare team
- Maintaining compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
- Supporting high-quality learning and development opportunities for all children
- Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals
- Managing occupancy, staffing levels, and nursery performance
- Driving continuous improvement and maintaining excellent standards throughout the setting
- Creating a positive and supportive environment for both children and staff
Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Previous Nursery Manager experience preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
- Experience working towards occupancy and quality targets
- Passion for delivering outstanding childcare and education
