About our Nursery: Our Ofsted rated Outstanding Wynyard nursery caters to up to 108 children, offering a stimulating environment designed to foster early development and prepare children for primary school through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. The nursery boasts modern, airy rooms filled with toys, games, and activity areas, along with spacious outdoor areas where children can safely explore under supervision. Busy Bees at Wynyard, also known as Kids 1st Wynyard, is located at 2 Wynyard Avenue, within Wynyard Business Park, Billingham, TS22 5TB. Role Responsibilities: What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner:
- Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children’s growth and learning.
- Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children’s physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Key Person Role: Oversee children’s development, care needs, and build strong family connections.
Required Qualifications: What We’re Looking For:
- Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
- Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education.
- Skills: Good communication, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
