Tradewind are seeking an experienced Nursery Practitioner to join a Primary and Nursery school located in Barnet. The school are looking for an individual with experience and a proactive approach to join their team.
About the role
- This is a mixed ability class, and some pupils are suspected to have SEN needs.
- Carry out observations and write pupil reports.
- Lead interventions when necessary.
- Support the planning and implementation of appropriate experiences for individuals and groups of children.
- Create stimulating learning resources to encourage academic progress.
- Set up learning materials.
- Lead story time.
- Take responsibility within the team for the 'key person' role for children as defined by the EYFS.
Requirements
- Must hold a CACHE level 2 qualification minimum or equivalent.
- This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
- You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Have experience working with EYFS children.
- Must have lots of initiative and a pro-active approach.
- Good understanding of EYFS curriculum requirements and their implementation.
- Basis to good experience of phonics.
- Awareness to health and safety.
