About the Family
We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Housekeeper/Nanny to join a family in Wimbledon on a long-term basis. The family live in a large six-bedroom home and have three children. They’re looking for someone who can confidently combine hands-on housekeeping with afternoon childcare and become a trusted and valued part of their household. This is a lovely role for someone who enjoys keeping a home organised and running smoothly, while also being comfortable supporting children with their after-school routine.
About the Role
The afternoons will be a natural mix of housekeeping and childcare, helping to keep both the home and the children’s routines running smoothly. You’ll take care of the general cleaning and organisation of the family home, including laundry, ironing and wardrobe care, as well as keeping on top of day-to-day household tasks.
You’ll also collect two of the children from school and, once back at home, help with homework, after-school activities and their early evening routines. As part of the evening routine, you’ll prepare a simple family meal, making sure everything is organised and settled before finishing for the day.
The family are looking for someone who is equally happy getting stuck into the housekeeping as they are spending time with the children, and who can naturally move between the two sides of the role.
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working in a private household
- Confident balancing housekeeping and childcare responsibilities
- Organised, reliable and happy to take initiative around the home
- Comfortable preparing simple family meals
- Full driving licence and own vehicle
